In terms of design, the machine is equipped with a dedicated fixture for grinding both end faces of carbon ceramic brake discs, meeting requirements for flatness, parallelism, and thickness difference, and enabling one-pass double-side grinding. The grinding is carried out by moving the entire grinding head rather than by spindle extension, which helps improve overall rigidity and process stability. The spindle is preloaded with a constant force, allowing for a larger depth of cut and higher precision. The dresser has an integrated structure with a single dressing arm that dresses both grinding wheels simultaneously, providing good stability and dressing accuracy, and supporting automatic dressing and compensation.

The machine bed is heat-insulated, helping to maintain accuracy during long periods of continuous operation. The grinding wheel feed uses a high-precision ball screw, and the guide rails are V-shaped steel inlaid needle roller rails. When the grinding wheel wears to the limit size, the feeding mechanism automatically stops feeding and triggers an audible and visual alarm. In addition, the machine is equipped with an independent coolant circulation system featuring constant temperature control. The coolant system adopts two-stage filtration: the first stage is a six-gear filtering water tank, and the second stage is a paper belt filter with filtration accuracy better than 20μm, along with a water level alarm.
