The LGM50Y double disc grinding machine can process a variety of products by switching different fixtures, including motorcycle connecting rods, mobile phone edge strips, mobile phone frames, bearings, pistons, piston pins, wool scissors blades, crankshaft bush covers, cams, sliders, and many others. This machine has been independently developed based on a thorough understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of domestic and foreign double disc grinding machines, incorporating advanced design concepts and decades of manufacturing experience. It is designed to meet process requirements such as flatness and parallelism of both end faces of workpieces, offering high accuracy and stable performance. Changing between workpiece types is relatively simple and fast, making the machine suitable for the demand of large-scale and efficient production.

In terms of structural design, the machine features heat insulation, which helps reduce the impact of grinding heat, allowing the machine to maintain stable accuracy during long periods of continuous operation. The machine is equipped with automatic loading and automatic arranged unloading functions, which help avoid collision damage between workpieces and reduce operator labor intensity, while grinding and feeding times are well aligned. During grinding, workpieces are isolated from each other to prevent mutual impact, the feeding speed is uniform and stable, and few if any workpieces remain in the grinding area after the machine stops.

The grinding wheel dressing frequency can be preset. When the processing quantity reaches the set value, the grinding wheel automatically retracts for dressing, then returns to the grinding position, and the system automatically resumes feeding and grinding without manual intervention. The grinding wheel cover can be raised and lowered automatically, with interlock safety devices between the cover and grinding head rotation, as well as between dressing and grinding. The processing area is fully enclosed, and automatic washing is provided at the discharge position. These features contribute to a relatively high level of automation and operational safety.

The system includes historical data recording and query functions, allowing users to check the processing quantity per shift, cumulative processing quantity, and cumulative machine operating records. When the grinding wheel wears down to the limit size, the machine provides both mechanical and electrical alarms and protection functions; at that point, the feeding mechanism automatically stops feeding and triggers an audible and visual alarm. The water treatment system includes a constant temperature chiller, a magnetic separation system, a paper belt filtration and purification system, two sets of water pumps, two sets of water level control systems, two sets of water tanks, and two slag receiving trolleys.
