The SX150D-9W CNC double disc grinder offers good stability and relatively high rigidity. It adopts a reciprocating motion grinding principle and can be used for high-precision grinding of both end faces of larger components such as diesel engine connecting rods, carbon ceramic plates, cylinder heads, valve blocks, and square cylinder heads. The machine consists of a four-axis CNC system, mechanical, pneumatic, PLC, electrical control, automatic lubrication system, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with alarm and fault diagnosis subsystems working in coordination.

In terms of configuration, key components are sourced from international first-line brands. The grinding area is fully enclosed, and the discharge position uses a large flow of purified water for rinsing, leaving the workpiece surface relatively clean with no significant impurities. During processing, the machine completes coarse grinding, fine grinding, and polishing simultaneously, with automatic loading and unloading: grinding proceeds automatically when workpieces are present and stops when none are detected. The grinding wheel can be dressed automatically. Each action position is monitored by sensors, giving the machine a certain degree of self-diagnosis capability, allowing it to issue timely alarms and reducing the skill requirements for maintenance personnel to some extent. The grinding wheel protective cover can be raised and lowered automatically, and is equipped with interlock safety devices between cover movement and grinding head rotation, as well as between dressing and grinding, enhancing the degree of automation and operational safety.

The dresser has an integral structure, using one dressing arm to dress both grinding wheels simultaneously, offering good stability and dressing accuracy. When using conventional grinding wheels, the dressing frequency can be preset; when the set grinding quantity is reached, the grinding wheel automatically retracts for dressing and compensation, then returns to the grinding position. Manual dressing is also possible. The machine bed is heat-insulated, helping to reduce the impact of grinding heat on the machine tool, thereby improving stability and reliability. Additionally, an optional water mist collection, purification, and separation system can be installed to collect and process mist generated during grinding, keeping the fixture and loading/unloading areas relatively dry, and ensuring that the humidity of air discharged from the machine meets relevant standards.
