Double Sided Face Grinding Machine
The double-sided face grinding machine is suitable for various industrial applications, including automobiles, mobile phones, new materials, new energy, aviation, heavy industry, and light industry. Products such as bearings, connecting rods, gears, brake discs, and ceramic components, wherever the two end faces require grinding can be processed with this type of machine. Whether the workpiece is metallic or non-metallic, round, square, or rectangular, successful grinding examples exist. This model offers good operational convenience, strong versatility, and a high level of automation, supported by multiple independent intellectual property rights.
The machine's design addresses the influence of grinding heat on deformation, helping to reduce thermal distortion and maintain relatively good accuracy during prolonged continuous operation. The grinding head moves along V-shaped steel-inlaid needle bearing guide rails, achieving grinding through integral movement rather than spindle telescoping, which effectively enhances rigidity.
The spindle is made of 40Cr steel, processed through forging, annealing, normalizing, quenching and tempering, high-frequency hardening, and stability treatment. The guide rails are made of Gr15, and the inlet/outlet workpiece plates are made of 65Mn. A hydraulic system is provided to eliminate ball screw backlash, which helps prolong screw life and keeps the grinder in a favorable working condition.
To avoid sparking caused by iron-to-iron contact, the machine includes a grinding wheel limit protection feature. When the wheel wears down to the preset limit, the machine automatically stops and triggers an audible and visual alarm. Interlocking is provided between the lifting/lowering of the grinding wheel protective cover and the rotation of the wheel, as well as between trimming and grinding operations, enhancing automation and safety. Cables between the machine and the power distribution cabinet are routed overhead, keeping the floor area free of obstacles. This reduces the risk of cable damage and does not obstruct personnel movement, contributing to overall safety.
The dresser is an integral structure with a single arm, allowing both grinding wheels to be dressed simultaneously. This design offers good stability and dressing precision, with automatic dressing and compensation functions. The feeding and discharging plates feature high positioning accuracy, with guide seats that slide on dovetail brackets. Both plates can be adjusted horizontally and vertically, making the adjustment simple and quick.
