The SX150D-13YL CNC automatic double disc grinding machine is an intelligent model capable of grinding stepped connecting rods with unequal thickness between the large and small ends, providing a feasible solution for the processing of such connecting rods. The machine is equipped with a dedicated conveying channel for connecting rods and supports automatic loading and unloading. The Marposs measurement system can automatically complete 100% full inspection, with waste products automatically isolated and qualified finished products directly entering the next process, which can be used to build automated production lines. Due to its relatively good stability and rigidity, the machine can also be used for grinding larger connecting rods such as those used in diesel engines. After changing the fixture, it can also process other parts of different shapes and materials.

The machining process supports automatic loading and unloading: grinding starts automatically when material is present and stops automatically when none is available. The machine is equipped with a measurement system that inspects all products, performs automatic compensation, automatically isolates defective parts, and sends finished products to the next process. In addition, the grinding machine features automatic wheel dressing and self-diagnostic capabilities, ensuring the entire process operates without manual intervention. A waste collection box is located at the discharge position. When the size of a connecting rod is out of tolerance, the machine automatically collects, isolates, and records the defective part. If two consecutive defects occur, the machine automatically stops feeding and triggers an audible and visual alarm. The grinding area is fully enclosed, and the operating protective door is equipped with an electric interlock; forcing the door open stops the machine. The discharge position uses a large flow of purified water for rinsing, leaving the workpiece surface relatively clean with no significant iron filings.

The system includes historical data and record query functions, allowing users to retrieve all dimensional data of connecting rods processed in the past month for statistical and linear analysis, as well as to check recent machine status and operation records. The machine bed is heat-insulated, helping to reduce the impact of grinding heat on the machine and enhancing stability and reliability. The dresser has an integral structure, using one dressing arm to dress both grinding wheels simultaneously, offering good stability and dressing accuracy. An independent coolant circulation system with constant temperature control is provided. The coolant system uses three-stage filtration: first stage magnetic drum separator, second stage drum filter, and third stage bag filter, with filtration accuracy better than 15μm, along with a water level alarm. Additionally, the machine is equipped with a water mist collection, purification, and separation system, which collects and processes mist generated during grinding, keeping the fixture and loading/unloading areas relatively dry, and ensuring that the humidity of air discharged from the machine meets relevant standards.
